A website contains huge storage and primarily meant for a business kind of thing associated with it. A website may be static and may be exhibiting the products available and services offered while a blog is a kind of knowledge platform related to many a things. A blog makes money for his/ her owner, while a website may show advertisement for its own sake.

As per as traffic is concerned a blog associated with a website attracts more clicks and views while a simple blog may not be so busy. A blog is only related to a certain topic and it can’t include a lot of topics and subheadings in it. A blog does not deal with any business, but is a kind of information platform. Blogging is dying at present for the reason that people are getting net facilities at lower rates and people are preferring videos. So concept of video blog has overlapped the simple blogs presently.

4 Basic Steps to make a Website

1. Get your domain name

“Well begun is Half done.” A name chosen for your blog to begin with is the foremost task each individual faces at first. What all points are to be kept in mind for choosing a blog name are basic ones and seldom thought seriously-

Blog name should be easy to remember– What if a difficult name has been thought of as a blog name and the blogger himself/ herself has to write it somewhere in his/her notepad to remember it. The name should be easy to remember so that the viewers who miss the link somewhere may remember it and put the address and use it.

Blog name should be easy to spell– Blog name chosen should be easy to spell. You know very well that a wrong click in internet makes you reach somewhere else. So if your blog is  a miss spell , the fun of using/ viewing your blog will die.

Don’t over think and choose – Choose the blog name you want and if its not available then apply a modifier to it. Example if blog name you want is Bakloh, and it is taken  then you can choose we at bakloh.  Every possibility is there that you may find a blog name you targeted.

Choose a name that incites emotions- The blog name should be a true picture of all sorts of blog posts related to the domain name. Don’t overthink, and make decisions. Be honest to you and choose only that what you have.

As in our case our site’s domain name is bakloh.com, similarly you can apply for it. Many websites are there giving offers for a new domain name. I bought it from Go Daddy.com for  approximately 15 dollars for a year.

2. Get hosting for your domain

It’s having all the information of your website 24X7 and enabling you to run your website. Without hosting nothing is there in the website. I bought it from hostgator.com. It costed me approximately 10 dollar for a year and would have costed less if opted for more duration and from the same site from which domain was purchased.Other hosting platforms are provided by Go daddy.com, or bluehost.com etc.

3. Get a content management system for your website

We researched for it a lot. As we were new to this field so, we opted for WordPress.  WordPress enables you to easily work with your contents for the website and moreover it is free. Also it has more easy towork with plugins then other CMS.

4. Create your website
