"The tale that My father always told"

man, people, india
mouse, rodent, cute

It’s the tale that my father always used to tell me to understand finances as well as strength of what we have.

Once there was a Brahmin, he resided in a small hut. His daily routine included visiting many houses in a day and get grains and other food materials from the visited houses. He used to keep them in a big packet and hanged it to the roof of his hut so that no animal would reach his bag to eat it.

There was a mouse living in his house which was a strong mouse. It’s daily routine was to enter the Brahmin’s house and  eat his stored grains.

Once the brahmin thought to have a stock check of his big packet, and was surprised to see that he had stored a lot of food , but the bag contained very little.  He inquired and after seeing here and there, he concluded that there was a mouse which used to steal food from his big packet. Now he tied his big packet (Potli) much higher. But to his surprise, again the mouse was able to jump from the ground and it was able to steal a big chunk of food material from his packet.

Brahmin wasn’t able to sleep that night. He thought deeply to do something for getting his food safe. What he did is the most interesting part of the story.

The Brahmin traced the path of mouse and was able to reach to the store of that mouse. He just took out the grains from mouse’s store and threw it very far. What it resulted?, The mouse was never able to jump as high as it was doing earlier. Why????

It was because the strength of its stored food material it had, that made it jump from ground to the big packet of Brahmin. The backup that the mouse had ,made it jump higher to reach the wishes it cherished. The Brahmin meticulously solved his problem by weakening Mouse’s mental strength.

The same is with each human being, ” Have your backup, make your storage so strong that it may enable you to jump as high as you can.” This is a true message for all of us, and I am blessed to have such kind of approach because of my father.
