Bakloh is a place of temples. A lot of Temples can be visited during a short stay at Bakloh. All the temples are old historic legacies of the place. The architectural perfection of the people at earlier days is quiet visible through the structure of the temples. Not only temples, but a Gurudwara and an old church is here at Bakloh. The scenic Bakloh amalgamated with devotees and places of worship is the specialty of our Bakloh.
Located at the very beautiful, green and nature rich village of Ghatasani, the Jwala Mata Temple is a temple worth visiting. The faith of devotees for Jwala Mata is immense. The Jwala Mata at Ghatasani is also called Ghatasani Mata. It is one of the old temples and legacy of Bakloh’s rich past. It doesn’t possess as good surroundings as other temples of Bakloh for, some houses and Panchayat hut of Ghatsani have been made very close to the temple. But the aura and divinity of temple can be felt, once you are inside the temple. Not only villagers of Ghatasani, but also that of other distant places are the devotees of Jwala Mata, The Goddess of Jwala is said to fulfill the wishes of all her devotees. people have much faith on the Goddess.
It is said that, In 1893, Subedar Indra Veer Thapa a devotee of Jwala maa got a Divine experience of Devi Maa. She asked him to erect , transfer and establish her PINDI (A stone manifestation of Goddess Jwala) from Mamul village to a small valley (Ghatu). Hence in the month of May in 1893 , her temple and Pindi was established at the small valley(Ghatu), and the village got its name (Ghata + Asani) Ghatasani.
Since then , the villagers and devotees have renovated this holy place several times. It is now a beautiful place of belief in the Goddess. The villagers celebrate the establishment day of this temple on either 24th or 25th May every year. A Bhandara is organized every year in the temple. Located 3 kilometers away from Bakloh Bus stand, this place of belief is also a place worth visiting at Bakloh.
