The Gorkha Sabha Bakloh is a prestigious and old organisation of Bakloh. It is the organisation which has been working for welfare of war widows , dependents and needy people of Gorkha Community lately. The President of the Gorkha Sabha, as head of all Ex-servicemen in Bakloh, is responsible for taking up the causes and interests of the Bakloh pensioners and their dependents with the AIGEWA, and other civic and government bodies. Presided by Honorary Lieutenant Vijay Gurung presently (2020) it is meticulously trying to work for the welfare of Gorkha community residing in Bakloh.
The Gorkha Sabha of Bakloh started functioning in the year 1933. It was found for the welfare of the families and dependents of the Gorkha Regiment personals. Initially it was a Sabha (gathering) of a few people who use to form gatherings, meet at designated places, and worked for the welfare of war widows, dependents of GR personals financially and in other ways. Hon. Capt. Ranu Thapa was the first President of Gorkha Sabha Bakloh. He is responsible for the formation of the Sabha at Bakloh. It didn’t had its own office, but the zeal of the people at that time made it to grow for people of their community.
The present building where Gorkha Sabha is functioning is a Regimental Property and was earlier a NCO Club of 4 GR . The building was made on the year 1925 by 1/4 Gorkha Regiment, and later on got shifted as building for Gorkha Sabha.
The Gorkha Sabha is a sister organisation of the All India Gorkha Ex-servicemen Welfare Association (AIGEWA). The All India Gorkha Ex-servicemen Welfare Association is Association registered under the Societies registration act XXI of 1860. It is registered as an association authorized to make recommendation the ministry of defense for administration of the Indian Gorkha Ex-serviceman welfare fund.

There are in total 10 such sister organizations of AIGEWA which are functioning for the same purpose throughout the country.
Above all associations and Sabha are meant to cooperate The All India Gorkha Ex- Servicemen Welfare Association and provide assistance to and promote economic , social and educational stature of especially those Gorkhas who have actually served in the ranks or their dependents or the working personals.

The Gorkha Sabha Bakloh is assigned to take care of the regimental property of Bakloh. The maintenance and upkeep of Kali Mata Temple and Lokeshwar Temple are few of its achievements. It celebrates Shaheed Diwas to commemorate the Martyrdom of Martyr Major(INA) Durga Mall on 25th August, every year. The Martyrs of Bakloh are paid homage and a general meeting is held. The Sansari Pooja on the month of April, Dusshera Celebrations, Stipend to meritorious students of the community, providing computer learning facilities to the students come under the routine works of Gorkha Sabha. It is the body which organizes Lokeshwar fair and Bhandara with the help of local people. The Lokeshwar temple which was on the verge of collapse has been renovated and decorated with the efforts of Gorkha Sabha Bakloh.
The Gorkha Sabha is housed at a building in close proximity with MES Bakloh office and The Samrat Hall. It is an old building full of resources in it. Record keeping has been done very efficiently by the office bearers of the Sabha till date. The main hall itself is a source of inspiration. It is containing the pictures of Martyrs of Gorkha Regiment who belonged to Bakloh. Also it has pictures of eminent personalities as well as Presidents of the Sabha.
