The Beautiful and Holy temple of Bakloh situated at the top of Bakloh is Kali Mata Temple. It is the place which is especially visited by people who even don’t have any connections with Bakloh. It is a Temple which has fulfilled the wishes of many people. No words to describe its Sanctity, its Aura, Its blessings to our place and people. Surrounded by tall pine trees, a beautiful site for such a holy place is heavenly. The History
As per the local sayings, The Kali Mata Temple is a very old temple. It is a Temple which was built on 17th century. The Goddess Kali embodies Shakti the Power and Strength that she gives to the place Bakloh and its people. Almost each family of Bakloh is having an army personal in it. The Goddess Kali not only provides shelter to everyone but strength to everyone for serving the Nation.
The Kali Mata Temple is in Army Area and it is primarily built, maintained and taken care of by Army along with the Gorkha Sabha. The Campus of Kali Mata Temple is big. It not only contains temple of Kali, but also of Durga Mata, Lord Shiva and Shri Gorakh Nath Baba. Also Ganpati ji, and Hanuman ji’s statues have been erected in the campus. There is a small temple of Bhairo on the exit path too. The Campus is a soothing place to be. The old temple which was built once is quite different to the one that we find presently. The Army personals and regiments who have served in Bakloh have always renovated it in one way or the other.

Location
As described earlier, The Kali Mata temple is placed deep into the Army Area of Bakloh. It is at the top of Bakloh surrounded by tall pine Trees. The Kali Mata temple is the most visited place of Bakloh. It is about 1 KM away from the Bus stand of Bakloh.
The Pir Panjal Range, the peaks of Dain Kund (Khajjiyar) and Dalhousie, The rivers Ravi, Beas and Chakki are all visible from the place. The Chillama Helipad is also clearly visible from the campus of the holy place.Its location is great. Come and visit and take the blessings of Goddess Kali. Feel the divine energy of the temple.
